Analysis and implementation assistance of revenue enhancement and cost reduction systems and processes to maximize reimbursement under government payment mechanisms.  Resulted in cost savings of $226,000/year and an annual revenue enhancement of $225,000.

Implementation support  of a customer relations/satisfaction program. Assistance with development and putting into practice concrete realistic plans to respond to resident concerns.

Assistance with formulation of a Corporate Compliance Program.  Compliance monitoring and internal audit activities, to include help with implementation of audit recommendations.  Formulation of a corporate compliance training program.

Strategic planning and business development to optimize occupancy and service utilization.  Census increase at one site resulted in $4,461,000 to the facility's bottom line.

Ancillary contracting analysis and advisory support, to include service appropriateness and pricing.

Provision of clinical operations assistance and identification of best practices to meet regulatory and quality initiatives.  Ongoing education and training related to reimbursement and regulatory changes.

SNF outcome monitoring, to include MDS validation audits for accuracy and completeness of MDS information and RUGS III category assignment.  For one community, implementation of recommendations resulted in an annual reimbursement increase of approximately $300,000.
