Acute
Care Facilities Requiring Executive Placement
ALC Healthcare Network, Inc. worked with a large
teaching hospital to resolve the need for an interim Chief
Nurse Executive (CNE). ALC has a pool of
outstanding professional resources and was able to fill
the need for a CNE at this large facility, affording the
hospital president an opportunity to find the right
permanent candidate.
The President of the facility
wrote, "Your eight (8) months with us will never be
forgotten by me. You came into an organization in
chaos and made sense of it. Thanks for all you have given
us."
The executive placed at this facility
accomplished the following in a seven (7) month period:
 |
Provided successful leadership in a challenging healthcare
organization.
|

Member of
the Administrative team that led an organizational - wide
initiative, coordinating multiple internal constituents
and external agencies, resulting in a successful three (3) year
Consolidated Accreditation and Licensure survey.
|
 |
Consolidated nursing units and services, resulting in
efficiencies and improved productivity.
|

and implemented plans to decrease contract and traveler
labor costs and advance nursing recruitment and retention.

provide high quality care, and resulted in an improved
practice environment.

timely issue assessment and resolution resulting in
positive relationships with physicians and increased
stability in patient care systems across the organization.
